 Fort Collins, Colorado – Sept 2, 2011–Over 900 people participated in the 27th annual Distance Teaching and Learning Conference from August 3-5 in Madison, Wisconsin.  Because of Weston Distance Learning’s education leadership, two Weston faculty  members were selected to present at this highly-prestigious conference.  Curriculum Manager  Katy Little and Faculty Manager Melissa Meltzer presented two 20-minute demonstration  topics.  Real-World Practice Makes Perfect presented by Melissa Meltzer  focused-on how to offer real-world experience to students when internships are  not an option. Consistency in Online  Course Development presented by Katy Little focused-on the importance of  consistent online course design and its advantages to staff and students.“It was an honor to represent Weston schools,” said Melissa  Meltzer,” Weston Distance Learning was selected to present and share about two  of our top-quality programs. The conference was an education-filled three day  experience of sharing and learning with colleagues in the distance education  field.”
